The Roots of Knowledge comes full circle. The lateral roots and medial branches that had extended from the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life at the beginning of the series, and traversed through every column of stained glass, connect to the Tree of Hope for Humanity. Reminiscent of a hand gripping a torch, the Tree of Hope for Humanity symbolizes the transfer of knowledge and wisdom to the subsequent generations, who will carry with them the light to illuminate the world in the future.
