Bunnell Pioneer House Timeline

1892 The Bunnell Pioneer House was constructed by Stephan and Mary Bunnell.

			1892-early 20th Century The original property was a 60-acre farm which also included several out-buildings.

1976 The land was purchased by the state of Utah for the UVSC Campus. The house was restored with skylights, a spiral staircase, modern bathrooms, and a kitchen were added.

			1976-early 21st Century The condition of the house deteriorated dramatically over time as it fell out of use.

May-June 2012 The house was dismantled to make way for the new Student Life and Wellness Center.

			2013 A smaller tribute replica was built on campus, just south of the Sparks Automotive Building, using some of the original brick.
