The bottom-left corner makes references to such writers as Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and Lewis Carroll, while the opposite side recognizes the scientists Dmitri Mendeleev, Charles Darwin, and Gregor Mendel.</text>
