Description
The institution cooperated wholeheartedly in the Food for Victory Program. As part of the war effort in 1942, the U.S. government rationed foods like sugar, butter, milk, cheese, eggs, coffee, meat and canned goods. Thereby giving the school greater incentive to grow their own produce.
